TEMPER SHIPPED A LINE OF BALL VALVES FOR UNDERGROUND INSTALLATION TO THE CUSTOMER

The Temper plant’s workshop of non-standard products has made ball valves with extended stem and very enhanced insulation (VUS) for underground installation. The valves of this type can be used both for gas and liquid medium.

The extended stem allows to control the valve if the pipeline is placed underground at a depth of up to 3 meters.

Thanks to the support of The Agency of Technological Development we upgraded our equipment for VUS coating application. It allows us to process the valves of any diameter (the most common is 25-600DN) with Carboflex material up to 3.5 mm thick.

That way the fittings are well protected from the stray underground currents and acids, alkalis and moisture in the soil will not be able to come in contact with the ball valve parts during its entire service life even if the pipeline runs along the bottom of the river or in a marshland.

With such protection the ball valves are not threatened by corrosion or mechanical damage and high frost resistance is suitable for climatic zones of East Siberia and Far North.
