TEMPER FOR A HEALTHY LIFESTYLE. READY FOR LABOR AND DEFENSE.

Kurgan enterprises and organizations participate in the city competition of the All-Russian physical culture and sports complex "Ready for Labor and Defense" (GTO).

GTO is the program and regulatory basis for the system of physical education of the Russian population, establishing state requirements for the level of physical culture and aimed at the development of mass sports and health improvement of the nation.

The strongest athletes of the Kurgan enterprises’ teams: LLC “Temper”, LLC “KZKT”, PJSC “Sintez”, PJSC “Kurganmashzavod”, LLC “Kurgan Instrument-Making Plant”, LLC “Kurganstalmost”, LLC “RTMT” and LLC “Kurgan CHP” gathered to compete. The competition program includes several tests: in May, the first its stage —  swimming — took place. In July the second stage of the competition was held: it was the performance of GTO complex test standards (long jump from a place, flexibility, push-up from the floor, pull-up on the bar, kettlebell snatch, situp). The third stage — grenade throwing and shooting — will be held in August. In September there will be an opportunity to compete in track and field activities.
