TEMPER ball valves are most often used in the field of heat supply, which is why the employees of our plant with interest accepted the offer to visit Kurgan CHP to get acquainted with the process of heat production in detail.

Ktec produces more than 2 million gigacalories of thermal energy per year, providing heat to most of the consumers of Kurgan city. The main equipment of ktec is six boilers of BKZ 420-140, four turbogenerators with a capacity of 100 megawatts each and two more turbines of smaller capacity.

The tour gave an opportunity to assess the scale and importance of the tasks solved at the plant, get acquainted with the control system of all processes of heat and electricity generation.
A matter of deep respect and pride for the workers of this company, that even in the difficult years after the Soviet collapse, despite the lack of new materials and annual replacement of equipment ensured work of CHP and uninterrupted supply residents with heat and electricity! Last year Kurgan CHP celebrated its 60th anniversary!
